Nathalie Oestmann is Chief Operating Officer at Outlier Ventures, overseeing operational functions of the business including Outlier Ventures’ People and legal team as well as Base Camp and Ascent, Outlier’s award winning accelerator programs. With invaluable insight into Outlier Ventures’ work, brand, and vision, Nathalie builds scalable and sustainable business procedures through collaboration with management-level stakeholders and department heads, overseeing performance management, professional development, and employee retention.
A well-known and vocal figure in the Fintech space, Nathalie is recognised as a ‘Top Women in Fintech’, as well as being selected for the ‘Global 100 Women in Fintech’ award in 2017.
Nathalie joined Outlier Ventures from Curve, where she served as their COO for over two years, holding responsibility in optimising teams across the organisation to execute the Curve strategy. Prior to this, Nathalie spent over 15 years in general management, most notably at Samsung Electronics and American Express.. Nathalie has a Master of Engineering from Cornell University in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor of Applied Science from Binghamton University in Mechanical Engineering.
