Nick runs the LIM Closed End Fund investment strategy from London and he is also CEO of the LIM London office. He started his involvement with Closed End Funds at Rothschild Asset Management in London in 1986 where he was in charge of product development. In 1994, he switched to Closed End fund stockbroking and ran the Funds Corporate Finance teams at Barings, Peregrine and then Credit Lyonnais Asia launching and reorganising many such funds investing into the emerging markets. In 2001, he moved into the hedge fund industry sourcing new investors for Asian hedge funds and from 2009 he has worked with LIM to develop a fundamentally driven event focussed approach to investing principally in Emerging Market closed end funds initially as an analyst and then a portfolio manager. He is a Chartered Accountant and also holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst qualification.
