Sam Robinson



Sam is a partner in the Financial Services Regulatory team at Nabarro LLP.  Prior to working in private practice, Sam worked for seven years at the Financial Services Authority (the majority of this time in the FSA’s General Counsel’s Division).  Sam’s work includes advising on whether a client's activities require FCA authorisation, the structuring of fund vehicles (including regulated and unregulated funds), financial promotion issues, conduct of business requirements, drafting terms of business for investment firms and payment service providers as well as providing consumer credit advice. He has extensive experience advising crowdfunding companies and investors and advises over 20 crowdfunding platforms covering equity crowdfunding, real estate crowdfunding, peer-2-peer lending and invoice financing.
